Role and Responsibilities:

1. Post and maintain Trust Ledger including interfaces and trade settlements.
2. Reconcile cash daily as well as bank and brokerage Statements.
3. Pay bills for trust, estate, and agency accounts. This includes ACH payments and check payments to beneficiaries throughout the month.
4. Update market values on investment securities and post from monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
5. Set up new assets, new Person and Entity Files (PEFs) for vendors, and transaction ticklers.
6. Timely pays estimated tax payments and assists with CPA payments, and federal and state tax payments during tax season.
7. Assists with Annual Cemetery Report.
8. Correspond with Beneficiaries as needed.
9. Completes all training assigned by HR, IT, Compliance, BSA, and supervisor on a timely basis.
10. Employee has prompt and regular attendance.
11. Set goals for making referrals to contacts in the community.
12. Has a helpful attitude with co-workers and customers.
13. Strives to improve efficiency in his/her work area through cost savings.
14. Performs other tasks assigned by supervisor.
15. Follows the IT Security Policies and Procedures, including the diligent reporting of phishing emails.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
• Interviews and trains new employees in the department
• Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations
• Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
• Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills
• Tact and public relations expertise
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
• Basic understanding of investment securities
• Ability to perform Internet research
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
