TITLE: Operations Officer and SME Support Manager, Special Operations and Intelligence Services Division (SOISD), Southern Pines, NC (TS/SCI)*
RESPONSIBILITIES: Serves as the Operations Officer and Part Time On Call (PTOC) SME Manager, Special Operations and Intelligence Services Division (SOISD). In conjunction with the Director and Program Manager, manages operations, and coordinates work, task orders, scheduling, administrative, security, travel, and all other support requirements in regard to Part Time on Call SME’s who support the Division as required.
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/ABILITIES: Qualified candidates must possess advanced management and organizational skills and demonstrate a mastery of a wide range of qualitative and/or quantitative methods of assessment and improvement of complex management processes and systems. Must have significant analytical, planning, organizational, coordination, negotiation and directing skills to ensure requirements are satisfied. Experience with and a comprehensive and complete understanding of USSOCOM, its components and Geographical Combatant Commands is required. Best candidate will have a comprehensive awareness of operational plans, contingency operations, crisis action planning and policies and procedures in accordance with mission requirements to develop and coordinate support for training, exercises, operations, and education/instruction requirements. Must be experienced in special operations, combatant command level operations and exercises. Familiarity with Special Mission Units, tasks, functions, and related interoperability with SOF organizations.
Job Requirements: *
EDUCATION*: 15 years related experience as well as prior USSOCOM and Component Military Training and Experience.
TRAVEL: Occasional travel to support exercises, training events, operations, customer site visits and meetings will be required.
CLEARANCE: A level of government security clearance is required for this position with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a position offer or removal.
