Job Description:
Under general supervision of the Deputy Director of Airfield Operations, an employee in this position monitors airfield, airport facilities, and personnel to ensure compliance with FAA, TSA, and Airport Authority regulations and leases; assists in developing and updating FAA required and other manuals and plans; assists in research for and preparation of bid specifications; provides escorts; coordinates with construction contractors; conducts safety-self inspections; performs snow removal and related duties; issues NOTAMs; serves as representative of Department in absence of senior operations personnel; works rotating shifts including weekends and holidays; subject to recall and round-the-clock operations, when required. Performs other duties as directed.
