Analyzes data and releases information in adherence to established ethical standards. Being a Tumor Registrar may require an associate degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. Additionally, Tumor Registrar requires Tumor Registrar and/or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT). The Tumor Registrar has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job.
