Pay: minimum $16.60 Salary is Dependent on Experience

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. A reasonable degree of proficiency in computer skills.
2. Working knowledge of basic office procedures and the operation of common office
equipment and machines, including use of computers, and accounting software.
Microsoft applications experience preferred. Knowledge of Infinite Campus software
preferred but not limited to.
3. Three years’ experience as a secretary and/or accounting functions.
4. High School Diploma or equivalent.
5. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

REPORTS TO:
Principal

Overall Responsibilities:
1. Do the usual office routines and practices associated with a productive and smoothly
run office.
2. Greet everyone entering Counseling Office
3. Make appointments for new students to meet with counselors
4. Request records from previous schools for new students
5. Make new cumulative folders for new students or request records from Central
Office if student previously attended another school in the district
6. Post up-coming dates to calendar
7. Have students sign up to see Counselors
8. Send pass requests to students for Counselors
9. Answer questions or find answers to questions that students have
10. Make appointments for colleges/military to come visit and talk to students
11. Send passes to students to come visit with college representative
12. Good student and driver’s education verifications for insurance companies
Social Security verifications
13. Maintain student records as required.
14. Assist in processing all changes in student schedules.
15. Communicate with staff regarding student activities accounts.
16. Deposit monies related to fundraising activities.
17. Maintain expenditure tracking and payment of invoices.
18. Perform filing and reporting preparation as required during the school year and calendar
year.
