Ultrasound Technologist jobs in Colorado Springs, CO

Ultrasound Technologist operates ultrasonic equipment to produce images of the body's organs and tissues for diagnostic purposes. Performs sonographic examinations to locate, evaluate and record critical functional, pathological, and anatomical data. Being an Ultrasound Technologist records test results, inspects and maintains equipment, and orders supplies when needed. May require an associate degree in a related area. Additionally, Ultrasound Technologist typically requires completion of an accredited program in Medical Sonography. May require registration with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) and/or certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). May require a state license to practice. Typically reports to a chief technologist or manager. The Ultrasound Technologist occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. To be an Ultrasound Technologist typically requires 2 -4 years of related experience. (Copyright 2024 Salary.com)

    As a PENRAD Imaging Ultrasound Technologist you will utilize your expertise to:

    • Obtain the highest quality diagnostic images, while providing exemplary quality patient care.
    • Follow all ACR and safety standards for Ultrasound.
    • Demonstrate PENRAD Imaging’s core values at all times to patients and coworkers: Compassion, Respect, Integrity, Innovation and Excellence

    Qualified Applicants will require:

    • ARDMS accredited Ultrasound Program certification.
    • Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association.
