Decides on appropriate premium rates and issues coverage. Being an Underwriter (P/C) provides customer services regarding underwriting processes and decisions. May communicate with field agents to gather additional information or to explain underwriting decisions. Additionally, Underwriter (P/C) typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Position Summary:
Gives practical nursing care to patients and provides guidance to Nursing Assistants and Medical Assistants. Works in compliance and in accordance with clinical and nursing standards. In addition to the skills required of all LVNs, special skills related to nursing in the clinic environment are required.
Education:
Holds a current Texas permit or license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse.
Training and Experience:
1. Current BLS Certification through the American Heart Association upon hire or transfer to department.
2. Minimum of six months experience working as an LVN preferred; one year of experience in a clinical setting preferred. Bilingual abilities desirable but not mandatory.
