EVS Supervisor
Full Time (must be flexible)

Pay Rate: $18.00/hr company paid benefits

The primary objective of the EVS Supervisor is to oversee the daily cleaning operations of the Casino areas. The EVS Supervisor should ensure that Casino guest floors, public restrooms, and all other areas of the Casino exceed the guests’ expectations of cleanliness.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Oversee the operations of the EVS Department.
• Ensure the achievement of departmental productivity objectives and service quality standards.
• Maintain cost control system for cleaning supplies inventory; perform the ordering and receiving of supplies to maintain appropriate inventory levels necessary for efficient operation of the Casino
• Utilize systems for inspecting and managing the quality of EVS services provided and ensure timeliness and efficiency of services
• Perform inspections of EVS employee’s activities to ensure procedures are followed according to standards.
• Responsible for the proper scheduling of staff and work according to productivity standards and forecasted occupancy
• Comply and report information on EVS activities and expenses
• Communicate with Facilities Manager
• Provide training and career development for the EVS staff
• Provide input to the department’s annual budget; monitors and reports variances against plan; keeps track of labor costs and related expenses
• Take personal responsibility for correcting customer service problems
• Serve as a role model by projecting a professional image at all times
• Comply with Casino policies and procedures for security of monies, guest security and emergency procedures
• Interview, select, and train new team members
• Plan work processes and determine effective techniques or processes to be used by team members in the course of business.
• Supervise and manage the work processes or procedures of team members
• Conduct individual or group pre-shift meetings with team members and provide daily positive feedback
• Understand and adhere to disciplinary policies including but not limited to counseling team members and the use of progressive discipline to modify poor performance
• Address and manage complaints, grievances or concerns from team members
• Regular and punctual attendance is an essential function of this position
