    Summary of Work:

    The Administrative Assistant facilitates the efficient operation of the organization or assigned department by performing a variety of clerical and administrative functions.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Welcome and direct visitors and clients to the appropriate area or person
    • Work with electronic medical records, reports, and correspondence
    • Answer multi-line phone, screen calls, and transfers where appropriate
    • Schedule appointments
    • Instruct clients in the completion of medical history and consent forms
    • Assist with inventory and ordering of nursing and office supplies
    • Participate in data collection and data entry
    • Assist with off-site and after-hours clinics when needed
    • Processing client payments, balance cash drawer, and compile weekly deposits
    • Complete other duties as assigned
    • Respond to public health emergencies as directed by Supervisor

    Skills and Abilities

    • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
    • Competent in skills such as data entry and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
    • Must be able to multitask and adapt to frequent changes
    • Working knowledge of basic bookkeeping

    Requirements

    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
    • Experience in customer service
    • Administrative support experience preferred
    • Occasionally work flexible hours

    Physical Requirements

    • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $16.50 per hour

    Expected hours: 37.5 per week
