Urban Designer
SITELAB urban studio is looking for an urban designer to join our San Francisco team. We are a fast-paced office working on transformative projects from taking action to spur downtown recovery to adapting San Francisco’s waterfront to be climate resilient to exploring sustainable models for new city development in California. Our ideal candidates have strong graphic and analytic skills and the ability to communicate clearly through visual language. Fluency in AutoCAD, Rhinoceros, Adobe Creative Suite, and Excel is required.
Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in urban design, city planning, architecture, or landscape architecture and at least one year of work experience in a design capacity post degree. Additionally we request a master’s degree in a related field. Ideal candidate would have professional experience designing streetscapes and open space as well as rendering.
We are looking for designers that are curious, engaged, ready for a challenge, and have a sense of humor. Applicants who do not meet the preferred requirements but who have other relevant experience are still encouraged to apply. Base salary range $67k - $77k DOE full benefits as well as bonuses based on individual and firm performance. This is a hybrid position withminimum of two days/week (Monday/ Thursday) in office in downtown San Francisco. Come join our growing team!
