Position Overview: As an Associate UX Analyst, you will assist in analyzing user needs and behaviors to improve the usability and functionality of our products. You will work closely with UX designers, researchers, and product managers to ensure our solutions are both user-friendly and aligned with business goals. Your role will involve supporting user research, conducting usability testing, and analyzing data to provide actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
- User Research: Assist in planning and conducting user research activities such as surveys, interviews, and usability tests to gather qualitative and quantitative data.
- Data Analysis: Analyze research findings to identify user needs, pain points, and behavior patterns. Prepare reports and presentations to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
- Usability Testing: Support the design and execution of usability tests. Observe user interactions, document findings, and help identify areas for improvement.
- Competitive Analysis: Conduct competitor analysis to understand market trends and identify opportunities for enhancing user experience.
- Collaboration: Work with UX designers and product teams to translate research findings into actionable design recommendations and improvements.
- Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of research processes, methodologies, and outcomes. Ensure that insights are easily accessible and understandable for team members.
- Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with UX best practices, tools, and methodologies to contribute to the ongoing improvement of our UX processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in User Experience, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 1-2 years of experience in a UX research or analysis role, preferably in a professional setting.
- Familiarity with UX research methods and usability testing techniques.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
- Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and basic knowledge of UX design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present findings clearly to diverse audiences.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- A passion for understanding user behavior and a desire to improve user experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS or front-end development principles.
- Experience with remote usability testing tools and methodologies.
