Usher/Ticket Taker collects admission tickets and passes from patrons at entertainment events. May require a high school diploma and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Being a Usher/Ticket Taker has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Additionally, Usher/Ticket Taker works under immediate supervision. Duties:
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Enter orders into the Aloha POS system
- Ensure all special requests or modifications are noted and communicated to the kitchen staff
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and offering menu recommendations
- Handle cash transactions and provide accurate change to customers
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with food preparation and assembly as needed
Skills:
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders simultaneously
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order totals
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and kitchen staff
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations
- Knowledge of the food industry and food service procedures
- Familiarity with the Aloha POS system or willingness to learn
