The Bradley is seeking a Valet Attendant to join our team!
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: The Valet Attendant is responsible for providing professional, friendly and consistent service for all guests and visitors while receiving, parking, retrieving and returning guests’ vehicles in a timely, safe and orderly manner. Provide accurate and concise information regarding the city, directions and area attractions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (This list of essential functions is not exhaustive and may be supplemented and changed as necessary.)

Acknowledge guests arriving and leaving the hotel with an appropriate hospitality greeting.

Assess and document any vehicle damage before taking possession of the vehicle. This is to protect the valet and the company from being responsible for car damages team member has not committed.

Records the location of the parking space as well as the number on the valet ticket.

Provide professional, friendly and consistent service for all guests and visitors while receiving, parking, retrieving and returning guests’ vehicles in a timely, safe and orderly manner.

Secure guests’ vehicles and vehicle keys.

Abide by all applicable policies, laws, and ordinances.

Anticipate guests and visitors’ needs such as opening of car doors, assistance with wheelchairs, assistance with luggage and packages.

Explain all valet fees to guests upon their arrival.

Performs concierge duties as needed. Assist guests with general information, maps and directions as required. Answer guest inquiries about hotel services, restaurants, entertainment, facilities and hours of operation, etc. in a professional, timely and respectful manner.

Deliver room service orders making sure that all orders are going to the proper room in a timely matter. Make sure each and every guest sign their room service receipt upon delivery. Deliver all signed receipts back to the restaurant Manager or designee.

Ensure a clean working area by keeping the area neat and free or debris.

Work closely with all team members to ensure a positive experience for all guests.

Provide instructions to guests on how to check and claim the vehicle, provide travel directions and information on events and promotions.

Perform bell person duties as necessary to include but not limited to guest luggage handling, properly tagging and organizing all stored luggage, delivery of all guest luggage to proper rooms, offering and being able to provide an accurate efficient room tour upon luggage delivery, retrieving of all requested guest luggage and providing luggage assistance for all room moves, with or without the guest present.

Ensure that hotel guest requests are coordinated to provide the best in guest satisfaction by maintaining contact via telephone or radio with the other departments such as Reservations, Sales, Housekeeping and Front Desk.

Ensure that the "valet zone" is kept free and clear for guest arrival and in the case of an emergency.

Proper use and offering of electric charging stations.

Report out-of-the-ordinary issues to manager or supervisor.
