Tues & Wed: 8:30 am-4:30 pm

Thursday: 9:00 am-5 pm

Friday: 8:30 am-3:30 pm

Saturday: 7:30 am-4:30 pm

Position Overview: We are seeking a hands-on and dedicated individual to fill the role of Store Supervisor. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and overall growth of our store. This position demands a physically capable and knowledgeable individual with a strong representation of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operational Management:

   • Oversee and manage the daily operations of the store.
   • Execute strategies for growth and development in alignment with organizational goals.
   • Ensure the store maintains a clean, organized, and safe environment.

2. Team Leadership:

   • Lead and supervise a team of up to 8 staff members.
   • Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to foster a positive and productive work environment.

3. Customer Interaction:

   • Handle difficult customer situations with tact and professionalism.
   • Take and process customer orders, ensuring accuracy and customer satisfaction.

4. Product Knowledge:

   • Possess basic knowledge of building materials to assist customers and team members.
   • Stay informed about new products and industry trends.

5. Multi-Tasking:

   • Prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously to ensure efficient store operations.
   • Be adaptable and able to respond effectively to changing circumstances.

6. Cash Handling:

   • Operate the cash register accurately and handle cash transactions securely.
   • Maintain financial records and reconcile cash at the end of each shift.

7. Merchandising and Warehouse Organization:

   • Clean and organize merchandise displays to enhance the customer shopping experience.
   • Ensure proper shelving of materials and maintain a neat and organized warehouse.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role is preferred.
• Physical ability to perform tasks related to the job, including lifting and moving materials.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to diffuse difficult situations and maintain composure under pressure.
• Basic knowledge of building materials is a plus.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Driver's license and clean driving record.
