  • Overview

    Responsible and accountable for the operation of the Vault during the assigned shift. 

    Responsible for the assets of the Casino including currency coin and cash equivalences.

    Responsibilities

    • Must secure, control, and be responsible for the management of vault funds.
    • Maintains security and accountability of company funds located in the vault during shift.
    • Controls access to the vault consistent with policy and procedure.
    • Processes debits and credits to the vault fund.
    • Issues banks.
    • Counts the vault in and out.
    • Prepares summary reports and reconciliation and forwards paperwork with supporting documentation to the Revenue Audit and Accounting Departments.
    • Summarizes gaming machine tickets.
    • Processes daily revenues into the vault inventory.
    • Prepares change orders from the bank.
    • Receives currency and chips from the count room.
    • Prepares bank deposits.
    • Records tickets, tokens, chips, coupons, currency, and non- negotiable items from Cashier during shift.

    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or GED Certificate.
    • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent work experience.
    • Two years of casino Cage/Vault experience, or equivalent experience in a cash handling position.
    • Basic knowledge of general business and accounting systems and methods.
    • Knowledge of applicable law, regulations, rules, procedures, and administration is required.
    • Proficient in computers, including Microsoft Office and database applications, email and Internet. 
    • Proficient in 10-key and other office equipment.
    • Must apply for, receive, and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Agency.
    • Native American hiring preference applies.
