ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Specifically, the responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following activities:

• Manage a team of maintenance technicians, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance of equipment and facilities.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment, machinery, and facilities to identify and address any issues or potential hazards.
• Work closely with Brewing staff, Packaging staff, QC staff, Engineering staff, and sub-contractors as a cross functional team member to meet all production needs.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and implement timely repairs to minimize production delays.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts, tools, and supplies necessary for maintenance activities.
• Manage and maintain all cleanliness, organization for new and existing work spaces.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards, and promote a culture of safety awareness among maintenance staff.
• Collaborate with external vendors and contractors as needed for specialized repairs or maintenance projects.
• Act as key liaison during emergency unscheduled repairs of brew house, cellar, and packaging equipment as needed.
• Develop and manage the maintenance budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities and optimizing resource allocation.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and expenditures.
• Manage other maintenance projects as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience in maintenance management, preferably in a manufacturing or brewery environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, as well as industrial equipment and machinery.
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs and reliability-centered maintenance principles.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team of maintenance technicians.
• Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, with a hands-on approach to resolving maintenance issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in industrial maintenance.
• Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $100,013.00 - $130,000.00 per year
