The Vehicle Maintenance Manager will be an essential member of Woodward Tahoe reporting to the Director of Operations. The successful applicant will be responsible for the safe operation of the vehicle maintenance shop and equipment andwill possess a passion for our sports, business, customers and employees. This position is a full time year round position and is eligible for healthcare benefits 1st of the month following hire, 401(k) retirement plan benefits, annual discretionary bonus, PTO, Sick and Holiday accruals.
Requirements:
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Will oversee the maintenance of all fleet vehicles, snowmobiles, heavy equipment, snow cats, trucks, atv's)
- Assist in snow removal and heavy equipment operator training.
- Develop annual budget and work within those parameters.
- Oversee staffing needs including selecting, coaching, and training employees and evaluation employee performance.
- Provides input into termination, compensation, and promotion decisions.
- Train staff in all safety procedures, as well as assist with training for specialty maintenance certificates.
- Manages employees to ensure performance and cost focus efficiency across the department.
- Discipline staff as needed to maintain safe working conditions.
- Set daily and weekly schedules.
- Must possess strong communication and organization skills and communicate effectively with other departments.
- Use a wide variety of hand and power tools, cutting torches and welding equipment.
- Ability to manage, track and forecast spending.
- Must have previous mechanical experience.

Basic Requirements:
- Valid and current Driver's License
- Experience in vehicle maintenance and the tools involved
- Experience in current trends and practices in work order tracking and maintaining in-depth digital records.
- The ability to react quickly in crisis situations and under extreme conditions.
- Able to stand for extended periods of time.
- Must have the ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
- Due to the operational needs of this position a criminal background check will be required annually after the position is accepted.
