We are searching for a full-time Event Coordinator to join our team. The Event Coordinator’s primary mission will be to help clients make their event visions become a reality through event planning and coordination.

The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and will work with Special Event personnel to help bring client’s dreams to life. The foremost requirement will be exceptional communication and organizational skills. They will also be responsible for several duties including event coordination, oversight, and management. This position will also regularly act as an on-site point of contact during special events.

Responsibilities Include:

• Special event coordination and management; both prior to and during the event
• Interfacing with clients through planning and including event management
• Execute event plan on day of event (including setup and tear down)
• Communication of event details between clients and vendors
• Preparation of event diagrams
• Conducting event walk through meetings to clarify and finalize details
• Manage additional event staff during event
• General support of Special Event Department, particularly in regard to client support
• Other duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality or Event Management, or related field
• OR 4 Years minimum related work experience
• Cooperative, creative, and detail - oriented personality
• Strong communication skills; including verbal and written
• Ability and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Excellent organizational skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $38,000.00 per year
