Essential Functions:
1) Responsible for the end-to-end management of supplemental/extra benefit vendors. Establishes performance goals and drives performance improvement.
2) Organizes and leads contract negotiations in collaboration with internal teams.
3) Collaborates with internal teams including compliance, legal, operations, IT, etc. on new vendor implementation. Ensures implementation is on-time and within scope.
4) Serves as the primary contact between SummaCare and supplemental/extra benefit vendor partners.
5) Provides ongoing vendor management and oversight, including:
a. Builds and maintains business relationships with vendor partners.
b. Leads monthly oversight meetings with vendor partners and internal areas. Ensures vendors are meeting both regulatory requirements as well as contractual service level standards.
c. Evaluates and analyzes vendor performance and benefit utilization.
d. Researches and resolves issues related to quality, performance and service level standards. Escalates to leadership if needed.
6) Conduct market scans for new vendors and new benefits.
7) Other duties as assigned.
The salary range on this job posting/advertising is base salary exclusive of any bonuses or differentials.
