Buy in Region Planner; This position is part of our Signal & Power Solutions segment

Summary:

Buy in Region Planner are responsible for requirements planning and procurement execution for raw materials that are buy from other Aptiv locations that have a direct purchase relationship with Supplier’s mfg, parts are distributed to NA manufacturing sites. planners secure the level of service, right part, right quantity, right date to meet Manufacturing sites requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Generate daily critical list
• Monitor supplier shipments
• Identify and escalate potential manufacturing sites impacts.
• Communicate and escalate with suppliers for critical and impact parts.
• Analyze Mfg sites demand and variations and apply actions to GAPs.
• Monitor shipment to Mfg sites from Whse/Crossdocks
• Maintenance to SAP parameters and orders.
• Ensure compliance with customer specific requirements

Must Haves (Basic Qualifications):

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline as industrial, electrical, systems, computer science, software, computer. Or Business administration.
• 1 years of experience with Microsoft Office
• Bilingual English/Spanish

Nice to Haves (Preferred Qualifications):

• Experience with SAP production control modules
• Analytics skills; database management.
• APICs
