Job Title: Quality Control (Catcher)
Position Reporting:
This position is part of Sunday Cool - Operations reporting to the Q.C. Manager.
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday: 7:00am – 3:30pm [40 hours/week].
Overtime may be required based on workload and production demands. This position will be likely to have overtime or weekend work during the peak of busy season, running May-July.
Compensation:
Hourly position: $12/hour or depends on experience.
Areas of Responsibility include, but are not limited to:
Responsibilities would include providing quality control, keeping an accurate log of every order, and learning to read and understand the Salesforce Opportunities.
· Catch the apparel as it comes off the dryer
· Verify that jobs are approved by Finishing and Q.C. Supervisor
· Ability to read and understand the Opportunity (invoice)
· Fill out the Job Confirmation Sheet for each Opportunity (correct ink color, total count, ‘packed by’, etc.)
· Learn the Sunday Cool standard for quality control (checking for trash, abnormal stains, print bleeds, and pinholes, etc.)
· Check shirt and invoice for right ink color, right garment, right sku and quantity.
· Ability to multitask
· Package all apparel neatly in their Sunday Cool box
· Keep the catcher station clean and organized
· Build shipping boxes
· Create cut-outs and stamp them with the Sunday Cool logo
· Sort through/ switch out test print bins
· Fill out QC tickets for wasted t-shirts
· Ability to use the heat press when needed
· General housekeeping, maintenance and cleaning
Physical Requirements:
This position requires the employee to stand for extended periods of time in a non-climate-controlled work area. The employee must be able to maneuver around printing equipment, narrow aisles, and lift up to 50 pounds. The position also requires the employee to work in a hot environment, including working in front of the 355-degree dryers and catching the shirts as they come off the dryers.
Probationary Period & Termination
During the first 90 days we will be training you specifically for the above position. Before the conclusion of your probationary period, we will meet with you to review and determine if this is a long term fit for both parties. Sunday Cool, LLC reserves the right to terminate employment of any employee at any time without notice and without payment in lieu of notice, subject to the laws of the State of Florida.
Overtime & Payroll:
Once you work over 40 hours in a work week, you will receive overtime pay which is 1.5X the above hourly rate. You will be able to track your hours by using your own personalized code to clock in/out of our Time Management system, Homebase. We pay biweekly (Every other week) on Fridays. Pay is based on eighty standard hours per pay period and Sunday Cool has 26 pay periods/year.
