Our busy animal hospital is looking for a motivated person with animal handling experience to fill the open position as Veterinary Assistant. Must be comfortable with customer and companion animal interaction. Veterinary Assistants are responsible for patient care, client communication and education, phlebotomy, x-rays, medical record entry, and so much more. This position regularly works Monday - Saturday. Wages depend on experience.

Hours of Operation:

Mondays 8:00am - 6:00pm

Tuesdays 7:30am - 7:00pm

Wednesdays 8:00am - 6:00pm

Thursdays 7:30am - 7:00pm

Fridays 8:00am - 6:00pm

Essential functions of this position:

* Assisting Veterinarians with patients

* Strong communication and client service skills

* Radiography and Phlebotomy

* Input data into veterinary computer software

* Ability to multitask

* Dependably and reliably in attendance

* Perform general physical activities, including lifting up to 40 lbs
