Veterinary Assistant jobs in Virginia Beach, VA

We are a single veterinarian small animal practice seeking a veterinary assistant. Our hospital is patient focused and client responsive. We are looking for someone who is comfortable with clients as well as patients. Experience is required. You must be able to work mornings/afternoons/early evenings and two Saturdays a month. Responsibilities include telephone skills, computer skills (Avimark familiarity a plus), client education, creating estimates and reviewing them with clients, patient care, patient restraint, assist in euthanasia and keeping the hospital clean. You must be able to lift 50 pounds.
