Veterinary Technician Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist the veterinarian
• Monitor vital signs
• Obtain blood, stool, and other samples
• Test blood, stool, and other samples
• Take x-rays
• Prepare animals for surgery
• Perform dental procedures
• Emergency first aid
• Restrain animals during exams
• Administer anesthesia
• Administer medications and vaccines, and treatments prescribed by a veterinarian

Job Overview

We are looking for someone who has at least 2 years of experience as a veterinary technician and must be able to collect and read samples. Must be comfortable educating clients on diseases and medications. Must be able from patient care to customer service your skills are what makes our clinic successful!

Work Schedule

Monday through Friday from 8:00am - 4:00pm

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Expected hours: 40 per week
