DOPE Marketing is looking for a versatile video professional who can shoot, edit and produce engaging videos in a fast-paced start-up environment.

In the position of DOPE videographer, you will shadow our CEO and founder, Dave Carroll for regular content, record trainings for our clients and staff, launch and manage season 2 of the DOPE Conversations podcast, chop up content into reels and short form video and manage the regular posting of all created content on social media for DOPE Marketing.

Our founder Dave is very exciting to work with, and he has over a decade of experience with being in front of camera, public speaking and producing content. Working with Dave is a “video, editors, dream“ with how easy it is to create and capture his content.

We are looking for someone who enjoys variety, is skilled at juggling multiple projects, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is game for anything.

This role will include some travel for trade shows with all expenses paid for by DOPE Marketing.

What you'll do:

• Shoot and edit a mix of daily video content content for long and short form videos on all social platforms
• Record trainings on Zoom, Edit content as required and post content to all social platforms.
• Produce videos specific to a variety of social platforms including YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok
• Film, edit and produce the DOPE Conversations podcast in the studio in the DOPE Marketing office
• Travel with the DOPE Marketing team to document tradeshows, public speaking events, and any other team travel throughout the year.
• Identify audience trends and produce videos that grow the audience of DOPE Marketing on all platforms.

The ideal candidate for this position:

• Degree in journalism, photojournalism, video production, or related field
• At least one year of industry related experience
• Ability to create compelling videos under deadline and prioritize tasks appropriately
• Strong video editing skills
• Knowledge of photography and the ability to capture publish-ready imagery
• Experience with lighting setups in both studio and field settings
• Experience with managing and distributing recordings on zoom or stream yard
• Ability to collaborate on projects with the team
• Understand how to produce videos to engage social media audiences across numerous platforms ranging from YouTube to TikTok
• Physical ability to lift and carry 50lbs or more and carry camera equipment for extended periods
• Experience publishing content and engaging with users on a variety of social media sites including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube

Pay: $43,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
