Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a skilled and creative Video Content Creator to join our team. As a Video Content Creator, you will be responsible for developing, producing, and editing high-quality video content that effectively communicates our brand message and provides online education resources. The ideal candidate has a strong passion for video production, excellent technical skills, ability to demonstrate hospitality, and a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and produce engaging video content for various platforms, including social media, online education resources, and marketing campaigns.
- Film and edit videos, including capturing raw footage, selecting and arranging shots, and incorporating graphics and effects.
- Conduct research and stay up to date with industry trends to develop innovative and creative video concepts.
- Ensures that content is well organized, labeled, and tracked with frequent status updates on projects via our project management system.
- Optimize videos for different platforms and formats, ensuring they are visually appealing and meet technical requirements.
- Edit and publish video that is either shot in studio, on-location, or from the live events team including chapel.
- Keeps studio & video production equipment well organized, clean, and well-maintained.
- Will participate regularly in team meetings and assist with other "All hands on deck" needs such as conference setups.
- Runs video shoots that will be conducted in the studio for various offices, promos, and other needs for video that the institution may have.
- Stay updated on the latest video editing software and techniques to continuously improve the quality and efficiency of video production processes.
- Adhere to project timelines and quality standards.
- The position will occasionally be required to assist during chapel services by running a camera.
Working Conditions and Environment
- Working hours will vary between 8:00am through 5:00pm. Some night work may be required. Work hours are dependent on video projects.
- Working hours may vary depending on special events such as conference weekends (9Marks, GO Conference, etc.)
- Working hours are up to twenty nine (29) hours per week.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in film production, multimedia, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Proven experience as a Video Content Creator, Videographer, or similar role.
- Proficient in video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, and similar programs.
- Strong understanding of videography principles, including composition, lighting, and sound.
- Familiarity with graphic design principles and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
- Knowledge of different video formats, file types, and compression techniques.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- An understanding of basic IT related terms and concepts (I.E. IP addressing, basic understanding of networks) is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail and a strong creative vision.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- The ability to provide hospitality and customer service to end clients and other departments, as well as others within the Media Services Department.
