Position Overview:
This position will be an integral part of our creative team, responsible for producing high-quality video content that aligns with our brand's objectives and engages our target audience. You'll work closely with various stakeholders to conceptualize, storyboard, film, edit, and deliver compelling video assets that effectively communicate our brand message, product offerings, and promotional campaigns across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation: Conceptualize, plan, and execute video content that resonates with our target audience and aligns with our brand identity. This includes but is not limited to product videos, promotional videos, social media content, interviews, testimonials, and event coverage.
- Storyboarding and Pre-production: Collaborate with marketing strategists, designers, and other team members to develop creative concepts and storyboards for video projects. Plan and organize all aspects of pre-production, including scripting, location scouting, casting, and scheduling.
- Filming and Production: Utilize your expertise in videography to capture high-quality footage that meets the established creative vision. Operate cameras, lighting equipment, and audio recording devices effectively during on-location and studio shoots. Ensure all technical aspects of filming, such as framing, composition, and audio quality, meet industry standards.
- Post-production and Editing: Edit raw footage into polished, cohesive video content using industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro). Add graphics, special effects, music, and sound effects as needed to enhance the visual appeal and storytelling elements of the videos. Ensure final deliverables meet quality standards and are optimized for various digital platforms.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and social media, to ensure video content aligns with overall marketing strategies and objectives. Communicate effectively with stakeholders throughout the production process, providing updates, soliciting feedback, and incorporating revisions as necessary.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and upkeep all video production equipment, including cameras, lighting kits, audio recording devices, and editing software. Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate repairs or replacements as needed to ensure uninterrupted workflow and optimal performance.
- Stay Current with Industry Trends: Keep abreast of the latest trends and best practices in video production, cinematography, editing techniques, and digital marketing. Proactively identify opportunities to innovate and enhance our video content strategy to drive engagement and achieve marketing goals.
Education and Experience:
- BA/BS/MFA
- 5 years of professional work experience in the marketing communications field
- Proven experience as a Videographer
- Background in business-to-business marketing and communications
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Proven experience as a videographer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your creative vision, technical skills, and proficiency in video editing.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
- Extensive knowledge of camera operation, lighting techniques, and audio recording equipment.
- Strong storytelling skills and the ability to translate concepts into compelling visual narratives.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for aesthetics and a passion for creating visually engaging content.
- Ability to adapt to evolving priorities and feedback while maintaining a positive attitude and high level of professionalism.
- Experience working in a marketing or advertising agency environment.
- Familiarity with motion graphics and animation software (e.g., Adobe After Effects).
- Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices for video content optimization.
- Experience with live streaming and video marketing platforms (e.g., YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook Live).
- Understanding of copyright laws and licensing requirements for music, images, and other multimedia assets used in video production.
Work Conditions:
- The work for this position is conducted indoors, in a conventional office environment, in an office, with low noise.
Physical Demands:
- Perform work at a desk for extended periods of time
- Occasionally lift objects up to 25 lbs.
- Regularly hear, see, and talk; and occasionally stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, and climb throughout the day.
