    Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Research Nurse Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary research team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in conducting clinical research studies, providing expert nursing care to research participants, and collaborating with investigators and other healthcare professionals to ensure the success of research initiatives.

    Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate and oversee all aspects of clinical research studies, including participant recruitment, screening, enrollment, and follow-up.
    • Perform comprehensive assessments of research participants, including medical history review, physical examinations, and laboratory tests.
    • Administer study interventions and treatments according to protocol requirements and clinical standards.
    • Monitor participants for adverse reactions and provide appropriate nursing interventions as needed.
    • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of study procedures, participant data, and adverse events.
    • Collaborate with principal investigators, study coordinators, and other team members to ensure compliance with study protocols and regulatory requirements.
    • Serve as a liaison between research participants, healthcare providers, and study sponsors to facilitate communication and optimize participant care.
    • Contribute to the development and implementation of research protocols, standard operating procedures, and quality improvement initiatives.
    • Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities to enhance knowledge and skills in clinical research and evidence-based practice.

    Qualifications:

    • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of Texas.
    • Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the respective specialty area (Family, Pediatric) preferred, but not required.
    • Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience.
    • Strong understanding or willingness to learn clinical research principles, study design, and regulatory requirements (e.g., Good Clinical Practice, HIPAA, HSP, IATA).
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
    • Proficiency in electronic medical record systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
