Job Description – Inventory Control / Sub Rental Equipment Coordinator (LED Video)
Job Overview
The inventory control / subrental equipment coordinator is responsible for allocation all equipment required for orders leaving the warehouse. This role is responsible for forecasting upcoming video equipment needs and managing what is needed to subrent and what is allocated with in-house equipment. This position requires strong communication and coordination skills.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
· Create and manage purchase orders
· Manage inventory control through our inventory software (R2) and excel
· Consistently review and monitor video accessories on orders that leave our warehouse
· Establish and manage vendor relationships for equipment subrentals
· Research and facilitate unique or hard to find sub-rental items
· Track budget for all subrental items for management approval
· Manage accuracy of dates and times among all systems in use
· Communicate with warehouse, transportation and event staff all order details and requirements in accordance established policies and procedures
· Must be an excellent communicator and have attention to detail
Requirements
· At least 2 years working with LED video or AV equipment
· Knowledge of R2 software is a plus
· EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS
· ATTENTION TO DETAIL (EXTREMELY ORGANIZED)
· Works well in high-paced / constantly changing environment
· Excellent Microsoft EXCEL skills
Additional Requirements
Occasional night and weekend coverage is required as well as occasionally being on-call. Being on-call requires, at minimum, to be available by phone by way of direct contact or through our answering service to assist Matrix staff and/or customers with after-hours issues. This may also include reporting to the warehouse, if needed, to resolve the issue.
