• Monday - Friday 7 AM - 3 : 30 PM

Position Overview :

As a Fabrication Tech, you will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of quality and contribute to the company's mission of supporting emergency responders.

Responsibilities of the Fabrication Tech :

• Interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications to fabricate components.
• Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Utilize a variety of hand tools for cutting, shaping and assembling materials.
• Follow material control procedures, maintaining accurate records of inventory.
• Ensure quality workmanship and timely execution of fabrication tasks.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment to uphold safety standards.
• Collaborate with team members to solve problems and contribute to process improvement.
• Continually learn and develop personal and professional skills relevant to the role.
• Adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Promote company goals with a focus on Safety, Quality, and Production.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications for the Fabrication Tech position :

• High school diploma or equivalent. Technical training or apprentice certification is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and effective problem-solving skills.
• Experience with a variety of welding equipment and procedures.
• Proficiency with electrical and manual tools.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Knowledge of safety standards and a commitment to adherence.
• Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Adaptable and flexible to shift priorities based on organizational needs.
• Ability to work both independently and as an effective team member.
