Wafer Fabrication Operator jobs in Bennington, VT

The rewind operator is responsible for the operation of an inspection machine/slitter and/or rewind tabletop machine, assuring quality labels are sent to the customer.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Comply with all company and safety policies and procedures
• Read job ticket carefully before setting up and running machine
• Input job order information into the computer; set specifications on the machine (measurement accuracy and attention to detail required)
• Attach slitting blades to machine when necessary
• Inspect and remove all defects, properly re-splice the roll, stamp each role
• Lift order onto the machine
• View labels with assistance of strobe light
• Comply with quality assurance specifications of the customer and Macaran, including but not limited to handling procedures, paperwork requirements, and operation of the quality inspection machine
• Complete quality assurance sheet and associated documentation
• Responsible for following processes and procedures
• Responsible for cleanliness of machinery and organization of the workspace; light maintenance of machinery and slitting blades may also be required
• Responsible for working overtime when needed and as assigned

Qualifications:

• 3 years of label rewind machine operation (preferred)
• Prior experience running Rotoflex HSI Series machines or other comparable machines (preferred)
• Lifting up to fifty pounds is required; a good eye for color and attention to detail is critical (required)
• High school diploma or GED (preferred)

Hourly Rate:

• The hourly rate starts at $16.50 per hour
