Wafer Fabrication Operator jobs in Huntsville, AL

Tasks:  

• Operates a variety of heavy equipment.
• Prior to operating equipment, conducts routine inspections to identify needed maintenance or repairs.
• Monitors gauges and other indicators to ensure safe operation.

• Ability to work in hot or cold temperatures and potentially heights.

• Adheres to all safety rules, guidelines, and codes.

• Ability to be on your feet moving constantly on concrete, pavement, steel, or metal.
• Valid TWIC Card or ability to obtain it.

• Performs or requests necessary repairs and adjustments to equipment.

Qualifications:  

• Must pass all training set forth by CSFCO and/or TVTC that pertain to this position. 
• Basic computer competency with the ability to learn client systems. 
• Positive disposition, integrity, and responsibility 
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check. 
• FR Outerwear required (no exceptions) 
• Thorough understanding of practices involved in the use of various types of heavy equipment.
• Thorough understanding of maintenance and basic repairs associated with heavy equipment.
• Thorough understanding of safety rules and ability to safely operate machinery.
• Superior skill operating assigned equipment safely and efficiently.
