Job Summary The Manufacturing Excellence Manager, Integrated Planning will drive cross functional and across site North-American initiatives to improve product flow, labour management, production scrap, material regrind and recycling to achieve optimal network wide performance for extrusion, injection moulding and fabrication processes. Principal Responsibilities Manufacturing Excellence: Lead the development and execution of the Manufacturing Excellence road map across North America Optimize production planning and scheduling through collaboration with the supply chain team Collaborate with the process owners to Establish performance and result indicators to help handle, route cause and continuously improve network wide manufacturing effectiveness Contribute and support the businesses to deliver against the manufacturing excellence critical metrics and Annual budget Ensure implementation of North American wide projects and initiatives through ongoing liaison with key partners. Manage and optimize the inventory of machines, tools and equipment across all sites Support process engineering on Mold and Network Capacity planning Plan and optimize Manufacturing Yard and building layouts Manage and optimize Scrap, regrind and raw material stock across the network Drive or support strategic business cases at the plant and network level Establish standard network wide labor planning methodology Optimize facility layouts and North American footprint Health, Safety & Environment / Quality: Ensure a Safety-First culture and support Aliaxis Divisional & Global Safety standards deployment Support the implementation of the Divisional HS&E strategy, ensure site accountability and report progress, events and initiatives to Divisional Leadership Team and COSO People: Contribute to the development of Best Place to Work objective. Ensure group organizational standards for Health and Safety, Quality, ISO14001, Corporate Policy, Customer Excellence and business values are adhered to during project delivery. Advocate for the integrated plan to drive network wide efficiencies Attend to individual attitudes to help foster a culture of change leadership. Track and report program progress and communicate with Operations leadership Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or another related Technical field is required LEAN Six Sigma certification is an asset 5-10 years of successful experience in leading manufacturing teams, with focus on manufacturing excellence projects and proven process improvement success Experience in using network optimization tools (i.e. Lamasoft or Riverlogic) is an asset Demonstrated experience of having lead teams in a performance management environment across different sites Must have a solid understanding of Engineering, Project Management, Lean Principles, Six Sigma, Financial competence Solid project management experience Ability to manage cross functionally with direct and indirect influence while delivering measurable results Effective at engaging and leading partners across levels and businesses in order to realize operational excellence goals and objectives Ability to coach and facilitate individually and at the team level Ability to travel 25-30% of the time #LI-JM1 IPEX is committed to providing accommodations for people with disabilities throughout the recruitment process and, upon request, will work with qualified job applicants to provide suitable accommodation in a manner that takes into account the applicant’s accessibility needs due to disability.
