Wafer Process Technician performs tests and experiments required for wafer processing. Sets up processing equipment and performs minor adjustments to equipment within guidelines. Being a Wafer Process Technician designs and executes test runs and disseminates results to facilitate engineering designs. May require a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Wafer Process Technician typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Wafer Process Technician works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. This person will perform job duties with direction from the Plant Manager. Performs the basic duties of the Set-Up / Process Technician. Duties also include being accountable for machine performance, and productivity. Performs and/or observes the performance of the classification with a goal of reaching Production Supervisor within 1 year of employment if so desires.
