PPE Required: Hard Hat, Safety Glasses, Steel Toe / Cut Proof Boots, Hearing Protection
Safe Work Agreement: I understand that Equustock is committed to providing a safe and healthful work environment. I acknowledge my personal responsibility to follow all safety rules, practice job safety, and report unsafe practices/conditions to my supervisor. I also understand that I am responsible for properly using safety equipment and personal protective equipment provided by Equustock Management. Employees who violate procedures, found to have committed safety violations, violate company rules, and fail to follow proper documentation procedures will be subject to disciplinary action up to and including termination.
Penalties violation are progressive and as follows.

Task and Responsibilities
1. Safely operate the log loading truck and front-end loader to ensure the steady supply of logs to the plant.
2. Understand and follow all OSHA safety rules and regulations.
3. Understand and follow all environmental rules and regulations.
Task and Responsibilities Cont:
4. Receive, internalize, and safely implement industrial operations training.
5. Implement safe working practices, including identifying hazards and providing recommendations for repair/resolution.
6. Support management, maintenance, and controls personnel to improve plant operations.
7. Work with all employees in a team effort to support the plant in attaining their goals.
8. Perform housekeeping assignments as directed.
9. Perform Quality Control procedures as directed.
10. Perform preventive, scheduled, and unscheduled maintenance while adhering to all safety procedures and equipment maintenance directives.
11. Maintain plant cleanliness standards and directives.
12. Safely operate material handling equipment to include log truck and front-end loaders.
13. Understand and properly don all required personal protective equipment while performing duties.
14. Fully understand and perform all lockout / tagout requirements.
15. Completely and legibly annotate all required documentation.
16. Understand and be able to demonstrate the safe and proper use of all hand tools associated with the shaving’s operation.
17. Manage all incoming log deliveries and ensure they meet company standards.
18. Responsible for all scale house operations.
19. Maintain the log yard to company standards.
20. Perform other duties as assigned.
