Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for providing and coordination of all Warehouse functions and activities while meeting the safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets. tasked with managing the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a broad array of goods, including raw materials, and finished items. This role is pivotal in achieving productivity targets and ensuring all warehouse operations are streamlined and executed efficiently.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee warehouse team and provide support as needed.
• Oversee the efficient operation of the yard, warehouse, and all vehicles.
• Provide inventory management in the best overall economic interest of the company.
• Oversee daily and monthly inventory counts.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, ensuring no product leaves, or enters warehouse without the necessary paperwork.
• Assisting loading and dispatching of customer applicators
• Provide additional oversight to the maintenance of equipment.
• Determine the storage location of products.
• Completes Hazardous Material shipping papers and train drivers, warehouse helpers and customers about transportation rules and regulations.
• Oversee and participate in the receiving, shipping, and storing of inventory items.
• Ensures that all parts are in stock, maintains proper inventory.
• Maintain the warehouse in a clean, orderly, safe and secure condition.
• Observe all safety rules and promote a safe working environment with team members.
• Compliance with all rules & policies regarding health safety, occupational safety, environmental safety, food safety, legal regulations, company requirements, etc.
• Compliance with the Company's Integrated Management Systems which includes, but is not limited to Production, Quality, Food Safety & GMP.
• Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse or any other related field -required
• Previous experience in the food/beverage manufacturing industry preferred.
• Must have a valid and current forklift license.
• Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Suite of Applications), and instructional software
• Skill in organization, analysis, time management, and the ability to meet deadlines for multiple tasks
• Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management
