Summary: This position requires an individual who is able to work in a busy environment, possesses solid math skills, is detailed and team oriented. The Logistics Supervisor must also enforce Safety rules and written procedures and have an ability to coach and train people on a continuous basis. The employee also incorporates the use of all technologies and equipment provided to efficiently and effectively manage the workload and his /her subordinates.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Directly supervises approx. 10 staff members within the Warehouse division, as well as (2) admin staff. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
