Hours are Monday through Friday 8 AM to 5 PM. The purpose of this position is to conduct failure analysis of parts during development, building and warranty of returns from customers. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Diagnosing faults of equipment using computerized testing equipment. Troubleshoot and repair failures, diagnose the root cause and recommend corrective action. Monitor and maintain testing station performance Responsible for procurement, maintenance, troubleshooting and improvement of test equipment Maintain records of issues, internal failures, internal product/process development and warranty issues Document procedures, update SOP’s Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions. EXPERIENCE NECESSARY: 3-5 years mechanical experience REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES: Ability to understand drawings, schematics and test logs Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and follow established procedures Knowledge to use precision measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, bore indicators and dial indicators High school diploma or GED required, comparable trade school or apprenticeship experience a plus
