Position Purpose:
The Warranty Claims Specialist is responsible for filing all required warranty information and supporting documentation to manufacturers for top warranty reimbursement rates on parts and labor while maintaining accuracy and following manufacturer guidelines to avoid potential audits.
Job Requirements:
Essential Responsibilities:
· Translate information from client invoices and service management system to Warranty Claims Forms for submission to a manufacturer
· Review and reconcile payments from manufacturers, review invoices for accuracy
· Appeal payments and communicate with suppliers and vendors for discrepancy in warranty reimbursements and payments
· Develop in-depth understanding of the reports used to calculate submission opportunity
· Ensure defined processes and verbal instructions are followed and completed in an efficient manner that priority items are addressed within given timelines
· Effectively communicate internally with management via phone and email.
· Maintain effective task notes through excellent documentation and organization while using various programs and software
· Other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Skills:
· Ability to learn new software applications and be comfortable working on diverse types of computer programs with strong working knowledge of Excel
· Strong analytical skills and pattern recognition skills
· Ability to perform duties with goal-orientated work methodology
· Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
· Exceptional customer service, professional written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
· Impeccable organizational skills
· Working knowledge of Outlook is preferred
