Waste Water Treatment Plant Manager supervises the operations and maintenance of a wastewater treatment plant to ensure compliance with regulatory procedures and reporting practices. Oversees sampling and testing systems, and the testing and maintenance of pumps, conveyors, blowers, and other equipment. Maintain the County Waste Water and Water facilities in a clean environment. Perform Maintenance as required Sewer/Water plants. Perform Utility Plants operator duties, as required on a daily basis. Perform all operations and daily maintenance duties in the absence of the licensed operator 7 days a week, as required. High school graduate or equivalent experience. Must have the ability to read and write and follow written and oral instructions. Must have DEP Waste Water certification Class D subclass 1 and DEP Water certification Class D Subclass 8, 9 and 12.
NOTE: A Certified licensed operator would be a higher starting wage -or- Start the process of acquiring all DEP certifications within 3 months, show progress quarterly and complete within 36 months from hire date.
