Waste Water Treatment Plant Manager supervises the operations and maintenance of a wastewater treatment plant to ensure compliance with regulatory procedures and reporting practices. Oversees sampling and testing systems, and the testing and maintenance of pumps, conveyors, blowers, and other equipment. Being a Waste Water Treatment Plant Manager ensures staff is up-to-date with all federal, state, and local regulations and environmental guidelines. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or other tech degree. Additionally, Waste Water Treatment Plant Manager typically reports to a manager or director. The Waste Water Treatment Plant Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Waste Water Treatment Plant Manager typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.     Position Summary
    • This position is open to relocation for the right applicant.
    Evoqua is looking for a Water Treatment Technician to report to our Jacksonville, FL branch and service our equipment at customer sites in the surrounding area.
    What your day will look like as a Water Treatment Technician
    The Water Treatment Technician will be responsible for the installation, service, and maintenance of our water purification equipment, utilizing a company service vehicle, within our Light Industries Division. Equipment specific training will be provided. Willing to train the right person, but previous technical/mechanical/plumbing experience is especially encouraged.
    This position has general day shift hours with overtime opportunities and a compensated on-call rotation with occasional afternoons/weekends.

    Position Requirements for Water Treatment Technicians
    • HS diploma or equivalent
    • 2-5 years technical experience including industrial or commercial process water experience
    • Basic controls ability (PLC)
    • Experience with Microsoft office, including the ability to utilize smart devices
    • Ability to work in a high customer facing position
    • Ability to identify and remedy potential safety concerns
    • Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and DOT physicals
    • A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
