Status: Part-time/Temporary/Seasonal (PTS) position, non-exempt
Hours: 40 hours/week. Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:00pm
Pay: $15.50 to $19.00 per hour (depending upon qualifications) opportunity for end of the season bonus! $0.50 for every hour worked

Reporting Relationship: Reports to Water Treatment Plant Supervisor and takes direction from Water Treatment Plant Lead Operator.

The department is responsible for the environmental management, design, construction, and maintenance of the street, water, sewer, and drainage infrastructure systems in the community.
Position Details
The Water Treatment Plant Maintenance Technician supports the Water Treatment team to effectively provide safe and high quality drinking water to the public. The Water Treatment Plant is a component of the Utilities Division which is responsible for water, sewer, and drainage infrastructure systems in the community. Position Requirements
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D) required. Valid Driver’s License and excellent driving record required.
Work Experience: Must be 18 years or older; related experience preferred.
Technical Skills: Candidate must have excellent organizational skills and the ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
Physical Requirements: This position requires the ability to lift/carry/push/pull at least 30-50 lbs, operate a motor vehicle and work under all weather conditions. Must maintain a valid driver's license.
