Waste Water Treatment Plant Manager supervises the operations and maintenance of a wastewater treatment plant to ensure compliance with regulatory procedures and reporting practices. Oversees sampling and testing systems, and the testing and maintenance of pumps, conveyors, blowers, and other equipment. Being a Waste Water Treatment Plant Manager ensures staff is up-to-date with all federal, state, and local regulations and environmental guidelines. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or other tech degree. Additionally, Waste Water Treatment Plant Manager typically reports to a manager or director. General Definition of Work
Performs intermediate skilled trades work assisting mechanics in maintaining water treatment operations, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the limited supervision of the Senior Utilities Plant Operator.

Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED and minimal experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
