MountainScapes, Inc. is seeking an experienced irrigation specialist who enjoys accurately watering landscape plant material promoting plant health, water conservation and applying the science behind plant water requirements. This person will be capable to foresee climatic changes through out the season and have the skills to manage irrigation controllers accordingly. This is a career position in landscape Irrigation along with industry training provided to advance the right candidate..

What you will do:

· Manage large irrigation systems on high end estates

· Audit and resolve irrigation issues

· Program irrigation controllers

· Perform minor repairs

· Report and schedule repairs with the account manager

· Spring startups and diagnosis

· Winterization of systems

· Perform electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting

· Assure plant material is receiving appropriate water

· Document material and hours

Skills we are seeking:

• Good English and communication skills with crew and clients
• Valid US driver’s license
• Team player and ability to work alone and resolve problems
• Knowledgeable in wire tracing and troubleshooting of conventional and 2-wire

· Proficient in Evapotranspiration rates and Irrigation precipitation rates

· Understanding of hydraulics

· Desire to obtain Irrigation Association training and certifications

· Internet based irrigation controller setup and programing

· Pump knowledge

· Backflow prevention knowledge

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
