Waste Water Treatment Technician jobs in Utica, NY

We're looking for a dependable Waste Water Treatment Technician for 1st shift in the Oriskany, NY area! This position will have a 6:00 a.m. start time. Looking for someone who has experience as a Grade 1 Biological Operator. Waste Water Certification is preferred!

Long-term, full-time, position for an experienced Waste Water Treatment Technician. Excellent compensation package including great benefits and more.

Compensation of Facility Maintenance Mechanic:

• $23-$28 per hour: depending on experience-- Willing to discuss pay!

Responsibilities of the Facility Maintenance Mechanic:

• Ability to comprehend and adhere to company health and safety requirements.
• Ability to install and operate remediation systems including but not limited to pumps, filters, vessels, media change-outs, etc.
• Cleaning and maintaining shop and equipment.
• Operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, Vac-Trucks, etc.
• Gather and assist with evaluating samples.

Requirements of the Facility Maintenance Mechanic:

• Valid driver's license
• Waste water experience
• Grade 1 Biological Operator with waste water certification, preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Must possess good verbal and written communication skills and a professional attitude.
