    Goals for the Position: The Project Manager – Commercial Water Treatment provides project management and technical excellence oversight for Secondwind’s commercial installation and service responsibilities in New Hampshire, Southern Maine, and Northern Massachusetts. The Project Manager works with the Commercial Water Specialists, management, and technicians to ensure the highest level of integrity and customer success is maintained throughout the internal and external customer journeys. The Project Manager works with management to develop and execute project scopes for new growth opportunities.

    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee all aspects of commercial project management, working with water treatment specialists, design engineers, technicians, and management to develop plans, establish timelines and ensure on time delivery of project plans.
    • Work with PWS & GWC Account Manager to ensure state approval applications are submitted on time with quality standards for commercial designs.
    • Ensure on-time delivery of accurate materials for commercial jobs working closely with design engineer and inventory manager.
    • Ensure adequate resources are secured for commercial project delivery working closely with master scheduler.
    • Create uniform processes for commercial project management success working closely with Product, Design and Commercial Service Manager.
    • Support design of water treatment projects and provide quality control support.
    • Improve the documenting and training to enhance the level of knowledge sharing, and project management success.
    • Contribute to the management and delivery of the SW training curriculum including services, troubleshooting, field discoveries.
    • Assist in the resolution of problems via the phone and in the field, as necessary.
    • Participate in companywide on call rotation and other responsibilities as requested.

    Position Qualifications:

    • Bachelors or Master’s degree in related engineering or industrial or scientific area
    • 5 years’ experience of progressively leading projects
    • Water treatment or plumbing experience preferred
    • Strong understanding of project delivery tools and metrics, and a proven history leading project teams to successfully meet expectations of internal and external customers.
    • Solid knowledge of water treatment applications
    • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read, analyze and interpret mechanical drawings.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills, self-motivated, and team-oriented.
    • Advanced technical skills, analytical thinker, and ability to see projects through to fruition.
    • Strong mechanical aptitude with an ability and willingness to learn and train others.
    • Adept at interpersonal relationship building, conflict resolution and leading diverse teams.
    • Computer skills (including Excel and ability to learn new systems)
    • Valid Driver’s License required.
