Responsible for managing and growing inside sales accounts within Evoqua's Light Industry Sales (LIT) team, which provides a complete line of pretreatment, generation, storage, and distribution solutions for high purity and wastewater applications in aerospace, beverage, government, health sciences, microelectronics, pharmaceuticals, biopharmaceuticals, universities, labs, and general industry. Works with clients to specify and upgrade their water treatment solutions, with a focus on selling Evoqua's ongoing preventative maintenance services. Acts as a point of contact post-sale, focused on ongoing customer satisfaction, retention, and growing business year over year. Maintains relationships with most accounts virtually, but occasionally travels into the field for face-to-face meetings and site visits. Responds to inquiries and offers bold recommendations on appropriate products and solutions. Responsible for advancing opportunities through the sales stages in CRM, along with being accountable for CRM data used for forecasting and SIOP. Must work safely with a sense of urgency to execute sales strategy, collaborate cross-functionally, and identify opportunities to increase sales volume while ensuring service levels are met. May work in tandem with the outside sales team to achieve sales goals and revenue targets.

- Creates and delivers proposals to customers
- Ensures customer satisfaction and retention
- Accurately records information in CRM for forecasting
- Continues to stay up to date on company and customer technology to remain a trusted partner
- Sells increasingly complex products and services; utilizes developing knowledge of products, services, and industry to recommend best solutions to customers; receives assistance from senior reps on more complex sales
- Tactical to moderately strategic sales; small to mid-size accounts and increasing revenue responsibility; increasing volume of total customers
- Other duties as assigned
FORMAL EDUCATION:
Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent
3 years of experience
Preferred:
BA/BS preferred
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
Required:
- Strong communication skills and ability to work across a variety of departments
- Basic understanding of Evoqua’s water purification products and services
- Utilizes sales techniques effectively and developing familiarity with industry
- Demonstrates ability to identify and cultivate sales opportunities
- Discipline to complete sales activities with minimal supervision
- Basic understanding of ERP and CRM systems
- Fluency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
