Wealth Management Specialist develops individualized wealth management financial plans and recommendations to help clients attain financial goals by selecting investment solutions to minimize risk and grow wealth. Uses broad knowledge of investment products to educate clients on available investment options and create planning scenarios for retirement, education savings, and other financial objectives. Being a Wealth Management Specialist keeps abreast of economic conditions and new financial products to inform and advise clients on potential enhancements to existing financial plans and create up-sell opportunities. Monitors client portfolios to ensure appropriate risk profile. Additionally, Wealth Management Specialist follows all regulatory and organizational policies and procedures. May be involved with selling or coordinating the purchase of additional financial products or services to clients. Requires a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business or equivalent. May have the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation. Typically reports to a manager. The Wealth Management Specialist work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Summary: This position is responsible for assisting with client services, office administration and supporting portfolio managers to ensure a positive client experience.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Process account administration requests from clients and portfolio managers, resolve inquiries, and provide guidance to ensure key information and documentation is up-to-date and accurate.
Prepare account paperwork and verify account maintenance items, maintain account information, organize, scan and maintain all client files, evaluate the day-to-day activities for continuous improvement, coordinate and assist with set up of client events/seminars,
Provide telephone coverage, make business travel arrangements, coordinate client meetings, perform regular file and calendar maintenance.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing, finance or another relevant field and a Series 65 license is required or must be obtained within 90 days of hire as a condition of employment
Experience: Five years of relevant client services experience required. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
