Wealth Management Specialist develops individualized wealth management financial plans and recommendations to help clients attain financial goals by selecting investment solutions to minimize risk and grow wealth. Uses broad knowledge of investment products to educate clients on available investment options and create planning scenarios for retirement, education savings, and other financial objectives. Being a Wealth Management Specialist keeps abreast of economic conditions and new financial products to inform and advise clients on potential enhancements to existing financial plans and create up-sell opportunities. Monitors client portfolios to ensure appropriate risk profile. Additionally, Wealth Management Specialist follows all regulatory and organizational policies and procedures. May be involved with selling or coordinating the purchase of additional financial products or services to clients. Requires a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business or equivalent. May have the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation. Typically reports to a manager. The Wealth Management Specialist work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Summary
The Wealth Management Client Coordinator will be actively involved in supporting advisor(s) through a full service platform. Assists in achievement of sales revenue by customer contact, relationship building, referral source management, technical, and interpersonal skills. The Client Coordinator helps gauge and enhance client satisfaction and ensures adherence to operating procedures. Demonstrates ownership and accountability for data integrity, including accuracy of client data within source systems. (Part-time opening)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Extensive Client Contact- involved in all activities that align with prospective and existing clients
• Performs account maintenance, including money transfer requests, contact information changes, etc.
• Manages account opening process, including but not limited to retrieving relevant executed documentation from clients and in compliance with regulatory procedures
• Serves as a liaison between the sales team, compliance and other business partners throughout the firm
• Review client activity to ensure overall accuracy, proper settlement, and reconciliation
• May attend client meetings, prospect meetings and client/marketing events
• Performs all other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Additionally, the qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required in this position:
1. High school diploma or equivalent- Bachelors degree preferred
2. 0-2 years of experience, 2-4 years of experience preferred
3. Proven ability to work independently, understand prioritization, effectively handle multiple responsibilities with a high degree of accuracy in a high pressure environment
4. Proficient use of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook & PowerPoint required, experience with DocuSign preferred
5. Accurate typing, spelling & grammar skills. Good written and oral communication skills. Good organizational and customer service skills. General banking and operations experience is helpful
6. FINRA Licenses 7 & 66 preferred
7. Appropriate State Life & Health Insurance licenses preferred
