Web Administrator, Sr. administers and maintains the organization's websites. Monitors site traffic and performance and recommends changes in the site's technical architecture to ensure that the website remains responsive, stable, and secure. Being a Web Administrator, Sr. maintains and administers websites by screening content for consistency and accuracy. Maintains related hardware and software, installs upgrades, and resolves system errors as they arise. Additionally, Web Administrator, Sr. ensures the website is properly integrated with related computer systems and back-end processes. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Web Administrator, Sr. work is highly independent. May assume a team lead role for the work group. A specialist on complex technical and business matters. SAIC is looking for Web Administrators to join a program supporting the Intelligence Community in McLean, VA. This team is tasked with archiving and disseminating finished intelligence products. The successful candidates with review products to ensure adherence to corporate standards, create html and PDF version, and post to secure sites.
Tasks include:
- Review publications to ensure correct classification and adherence to branding and formatting standards
- Review document metadata and correct as needed
- Create and edit html format for web publishing
- Maintain documentation of and provide recommendations to improve existing procedures
- Support testing of new publishing and workflow management tools, new types of published products, and new publishing system functions
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance
- Bachelor's Degree related to the tasks outlined
- Minimum three years of experience with html
- Attentive to detail, able to adapt to rapidly changing work environment and deadlines, and highly organized
- Tools: HTML 5, Dreamweaver, Adobe Creative Suite Design or Premium (Acrobat Pro, Photoshop)
